Eternal Rest
Eternal Rest is a short animated film about a teenage girl exploring an abandoned theatre, only to find herself trapped by a spirit wishing to teach her a piano piece that will set him free.

I was responsible for producing, pre-visualization, animating some scenes, compositing, editing, and creating graphics for the title and credits.
PRODUCING
I produced a team of 3D animators and modelers through schedules and assignment sheets to make sure each step was finished in time for the next to transition smoothly.

3D ANIMATING
Pre-Visualization
My work on the Pre-Viz locked the look of our camera movements in 3D space. While the Pre-Viz pass of the film does not have the characters used, the cameras and layouts tested are what were used in the final film.

ANIMATING
I animated four shots in the film using the 2019 version of Autodesk Maya.

"The Panic"
Responsible for animation of both characters
"Uniform Snap"
Responsible for animation of both characters and Slamming Doors
"A Gesture"
Responsible for animation of both characters
"Ascending"
Responsible for animation of both characters and papers
COMPOSITING AND EDITING
Through the 2020 versions Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, I edited and composited the final timing of the animatic, color corrected each shot, added effects, extra lighting, and opening and closing credit sequences.
COLOR CORRECTION
I am responsible for color correcting. Each shot was rendered out as EXR sequences for data in color. This allowed me to tone down the green haze that cameras picked up from too many reflective surfaces in the software.
